This policy explains what personal information Shastra Consulting LLC (“Shastra”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to shastraconsulting.com only. If you become a client, our engagement terms explain how we handle the information needed to provide our services.

Information we collect

When you contact us through the website

Our consultation form asks for your name, email address and mobile number. You can also tell us which service you are interested in and add a message. We record which page of the site you sent the form from, so we know what you were reading about.

When you email, call or message us

We receive whatever you choose to share, along with your contact details. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy also applies to that conversation.

Technical information

Like most websites, our web server automatically records basic technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use this only to keep the site secure and working properly.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
• To provide our services if you go on to become a client.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
• To protect the website against misuse and fix technical problems.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we will not add you to marketing mailing lists without your permission.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set tracking cookies and does not currently use analytics or advertising tools. Fonts and images are served from our own server, so visiting a page does not send your information to third parties. If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this policy first.

Links to other services, such as Google Maps or WhatsApp, only connect you to those services when you choose to click them.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only:

• with service providers who help us run our website and email, under obligations of confidentiality; and
• where we are required to by law or by a competent authority.

Our website and email providers may store information on servers located outside the UAE. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure it remains protected.

How long we keep it

If you send us an enquiry and do not become a client, we keep your details for up to 24 months and then delete them. Server logs are kept for no longer than 90 days. If you become a client, we keep records for the periods required by UAE law, including tax and anti-money-laundering record-keeping rules.

Keeping it secure

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to enquiries is limited to the people at Shastra who need it to respond. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your information, where we are not required to keep it by law; or
• stop contacting you.

To make a request, email info@shastraconsulting.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
